Running things for Mahindra Logistics here in Pune keeps us pretty busy most days. Logistics is one of those jobs where you’re always looking at a clock or a map. We deal with a lot of trucks, drivers, and heavy boxes that need to go from one side of the city to the other, or way further out. Pune is a big place and the roads aren't always easy, especially when there’s construction or it’s raining hard during the monsoon. Our setup here is pretty practical. It’s more about clipboards, schedules, and making sure the fuel tanks are full than anything else. You won't find much fancy furniture in our workspace; it’s mostly just sturdy tables and people talking on their phones trying to find out where a delivery is. Sometimes things get delayed because of a flat tire or a blocked highway, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It’s honest work and it gets dusty, but that is just part of the life. We’ve got a good group of people who know the local routes like the back of their hands. We don’t talk much about big goals, we just focus on the next load and the next destination. It’s just how we operate around here, keeping things moving through the city streets day in and day out without making too much of a fuss about it.
