Mahina Maimoriyal H S School

You can find us at the Meghdoot Building, which is located at Survey Number 13 right on the Pune-Solapur Road in Hadapsar. This is a very busy part of town, so there is always the sound of heavy trucks and buses rumbling by. The building itself is an older one, and Mahina Maimoriyal H S School occupies a good portion of it for the high school classes. It is easy to find if you are looking for the Meghdoot landmark, but the traffic can be a real headache in the mornings. We spend a lot of time making sure the kids stay away from the main road when they arrive. Inside, the rooms have high ceilings and the fans are always spinning to keep the heat away. Hadapsar is a dusty place because of all the construction and the highway, so we are constantly cleaning the windows and the desks. We do not have a sprawling campus; it is mostly just the floors we have in the building. There is a small area where students can stand around during lunch, but it is not much of a park. The staff room is usually a bit messy with old notebooks and folders piled up on the table. We have been part of this Hadapsar landscape for years now, and the school has seen a lot of changes in the road outside. It is a straightforward place for learning.
