Mahesh Vidybhavan High School

We are located in Chinchwad East, specifically in the Prashant Plaza Society. It is a bit unusual because the school is actually set up in Shop numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4. If you walk into Purnanagar and look for Cdc 85 or 86, you will find Mahesh Vidybhavan High School right there among the other local businesses. It is a busy little area with people coming and going from the plaza all day long. The classrooms are basically converted shop spaces, which makes for an interesting setup. We do not have a massive gate or a long driveway, just the storefronts where the kids line up in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Being in a residential society like Prashant Plaza means we have neighbors all around us, so we try to keep the noise down during the day. The hallway is narrow and there is always a bit of a crowd near the entrance when school lets out in the afternoon. Chinchwad is a loud place with all the factories nearby, but inside the plaza, it feels a bit more like a community. We have some desks squeezed in and a small office where we keep the registers and the lunch boxes. It is not a big fancy institution, just a school that grew out of a few shops to serve the families living in the Purnanagar area. We see the same parents every morning at the tea stall nearby.
