You can find us at Dharam Villa on Porwal Road in Lohegaon. We are right opposite Divine Home, which is a good landmark for people trying to find the school. Lohegaon has changed a lot lately, with more buildings going up everywhere, but we stay busy with our daily school routine. The school isn't a giant institution; it’s more of a local place where kids from the neighborhood come to study. We have classrooms that get filled with the sound of children reciting their lessons. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but we just clean it up and keep going. The staff here are mostly local people who understand the families in Pune. We spend a lot of time organizing the books and making sure the kids have what they need for their classes. There is a lot of movement during the morning drop-off and the afternoon pick-up. We don't have a huge staff, so everyone chips in with whatever needs doing, whether it's fixing a chair or helping a student with their homework. It’s a simple setup at Dharam Villa. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide a space for the middle school years. It’s honest work, and the days go by pretty fast when you’re looking after so many energetic kids. We just keep the gates open and the lessons moving as best as we can.
