Mahaveer Middle School

You can find us at the Isbm Rahul Tower, right on Mahatma Gandhi Road. Being on M G Road means it’s always busy outside. There is always someone honking a horn or people rushing to the shops. Our school occupies a space in the tower, which is a bit different from a standalone building with a big yard. Since it’s a middle school, the kids are at that age where they have a lot of energy and don't always know what to do with it. We try to keep things orderly, but with twelve and thirteen-year-olds, there is always some chaos. The stairs get a lot of use every day. We don't have a massive campus, so we use the space we have as best as we can. The address is 411001, right in the heart of Pune. Sometimes the city noise drifts up into the classrooms, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s just part of being in this part of town. We have our desks set up and the blackboards are usually covered in chalk dust by the afternoon. The staff room is small and usually smells like tea and old paper. It’s a working school, nothing more and nothing less. We don't put on airs. The families who send their children here are mostly locals who work in the nearby businesses. It’s a convenient spot for them, and we’ve been here long enough to be part of the scenery.
