Mahatma Gandhi Public School Khochipur

People around here know where we are at Plot No 385 in Sector 24. It’s right there in Nigdi-Pimpri Chinchwad, and we use Flat No 5 for our operations. Most mornings start early before the sun gets too hot. You can hear the kids coming down the street long before they actually get to the door. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. The hallways aren't very wide, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time. We’ve been in this part of Pune for a while now. The neighborhood is mostly families and some small shops. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets loud, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of desks moving and teachers talking. We don't have a big fancy gate or anything. It's just a regular building where the local kids come to learn their lessons. Most of the staff live nearby, so we see the parents at the market or the bus stop too. It’s a simple setup. We don't have those big playgrounds you see in the movies, but there’s enough space for what we need to do every day. When the monsoon hits, the rain drums on the roof so loud we have to shout a bit. It’s just how things are here in Khochipur. We keep the books in the cupboards and try to keep everything organized, though it gets messy by noon.
