Maharudra Engineering Works

Living and working in Alegaon Paga Village is quite peaceful most days. Maharudra Engineering Works is located here in Shirur Tehsil, and it is not too far from Baramati or Bhor. Our shop is just a regular place where we get our hands dirty every single day. We do a lot of engineering jobs that come our way from the local people and some from further out too. It is noisy because of the machines running all the time, but that is how it should be. The floors have metal shavings on them and we use tools that have been with us for years. Being near Baramati means we see a lot of people passing through. We didn't plan on being a big corporation or anything like that. We just wanted a place to work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait, or the rain makes it hard to get things moved around the yard. It is just the way life is here. You can see the sign for Maharudra Engineering Works from the road, though it might be a bit faded now. We take things as they come and try to finish the jobs before the sun goes down. It is honest work and we are glad to be part of this village. If you need something looked at, you just come by and talk to us. We are usually here from early morning until the evening light starts to fade away and the village gets quiet.
