We are located right next to the Vasant Dada Sugar Institute on Keshav Nagar Road. If you know the Manjari Budruk area in Pune, you’ve probably passed by our gate at some point. It’s a busy road, especially when the sugar factory is in full swing and the trucks are moving. Our school is a pretty straightforward place. We’ve got the usual classrooms and a playground where the kids make a lot of noise during their breaks. It isn't a fancy setup with glass buildings or anything like that. Just bricks and mortar and a lot of students trying to get through their lessons. The teachers here have their hands full, mostly just making sure everyone stays on track with their books. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the front offices, so we’re always cleaning that up. We get a mix of families from around here. Some parents stop by to talk about their kids’ grades or to drop off a lunch box they forgot in the morning. It’s just a normal school day, day in and day out. We have a few trees in the yard that give some shade, which is nice in the Pune heat. Nothing too complicated goes on here. We open the gates early, the bell rings, and we do it all over again the next day. It’s just us here in Manjari, doing what schools do.
