Maharashtra Collection

Maharashtra Collection is over in Warje Malwadi, specifically at Thorat Colony. We are right across from the Kshipra Society, which makes us pretty easy to spot once you get into the lane. We have units 7A and 7B, so we have a bit more space than some of the other shops nearby. We mostly deal with clothes and fabric. It started as a small family thing and it's stayed that way. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first opened, with more buildings going up everywhere. We see a lot of the same faces every month. People from the society across the road often walk over just to see what we've got in stock. We don't really have a fancy website or anything. We just put our stuff on the hangers and let the products speak for themselves. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we try to keep things clean. It’s a bit of work keeping everything organized, especially when the new season's stock arrives all at once. My cousin helps out on the weekends when it gets busy. We don't have a lot of rules, we just want people to find what they need and feel comfortable while they're looking. It’s a quiet life here in Thorat Colony and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep doing our thing and helping out where we can. It is a good way to spend the day.
