Mahalaxmi General Stores

Mahalaxmi General Stores is located at number 14 in Pimple Gurav. It’s a pretty standard local shop that sits right in the middle of the residential area. We open up early, usually before most people are even awake, so we can get the fresh milk and bread sorted. The shop is packed with all sorts of things—soap, snacks, notebooks, and whatever else the families around here might run out of. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get through the aisles sometimes because we try to keep a lot of variety on the shelves. Pimple Gurav is a nice place to be, and we know most of the families who live on this street. We see the kids growing up, coming in for chocolates after school, and then years later they’re coming in to buy groceries for their own homes. The shop isn’t fancy; we have some old wooden counters and a ceiling fan that’s seen better days. During the rainy season, the damp air makes everything feel a bit heavy, but we just keep the doors open and wait for the customers. We don't spend money on big signs or advertisements. People just know we’re here at plot 14. We take things one day at a time, making sure we have enough change in the drawer and that the shelves aren't empty.
