Our place is at 827, M.G.Road, Camp, and if you have ever been to Camp in the afternoon, you know how chaotic it is. The street is always full of people shopping and cars honking. We are right in the middle of all that mess. Our office isn’t anything special to look at. It’s mostly just shelves and a few desks where we handle all the export stuff. We deal with a lot of international orders, so someone is always looking at a clock to see what time it is in another country. It gets pretty busy and the phone never really stops ringing. We have a small staff and everyone has to do a bit of everything. One minute you’re typing an email and the next you’re helping move some boxes in the back. The air conditioner is old and makes a rattling noise, but it keeps us cool enough. We don't have a lot of formal rules or anything. We just show up, do the work, and try to make sure nothing gets lost in the mail. It’s a lot of logistical work that most people would find boring, but it keeps us busy. We’ve been on M.G. Road for a long time now and we know all the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like a little community even if it’s noisy and crowded. We just get on with it and keep the orders moving out.
