Arvind Provision Stores

Arvind Provision Stores is our small shop in Lonavala. We are located in the Kesariaji Society in the Vasan area. It’s a quiet part of town compared to the main Lonavala market, but we like it that way. We’ve been here for many years, serving the families who live nearby. We sell all the daily essentials like flour, sugar, lentils, and soaps. It’s a typical neighborhood provision store. We don't have a lot of space, so every inch of the shop is filled with something. We spend a lot of time weighing out items and packing them in small bags. It’s just a few of us running the place. We don't have any corporate structure or managers. We know most of our customers by their names because they’ve been coming to us for so long. Living in Lonavala means we see a lot of rain in the monsoon, and the shop can get a bit damp, but we manage. Kesariaji Society is a nice community to be part of. We open the store early and stay open until late so people can get what they need after work. We don't use any fancy technology, just a simple ledger and a calculator for our accounts. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, and it works for us. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Lonavala. We just want to be a regular place for the people in Vasan to get their groceries without any fuss.
