Mahajan Tyres Tours Travels

Our shop is in Sai Complex, right there at Dange Chowk. It’s a weird mix because we do tyres and also tours and travels. My uncle started with the tyre business because he knew everything about rubber and wheels. Then we added the travel part because we had a couple of cars and people kept asking for rides to the airport or for weekend trips. So now, you’ll see stacks of tyres on one side and a desk with travel brochures on the other. It gets a bit messy sometimes. Opp Preena Bank is the easiest landmark to give people. Chinchwad is a busy area, so we get a lot of walk-ins who have a flat tyre or just need a quick wheel balance. On the travel side, we book buses and cars for families. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and checking schedules. The shop isn’t very big, so when there are three customers and two mechanics, it feels very crowded. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day. The dust from the road is a constant battle, especially with the black tyres. We don’t have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of plastic chairs for people to sit while we work. It’s a family thing, so we all chip in. Sometimes I’m changing a tyre, and ten minutes later I’m explaining a bus route to someone. We stay open pretty late most nights because that's when people need help with their cars.
