Madurai Maruthu Dancing School

Madurai Maruthu Dancing School is located on the second floor of the Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha’S Pradhan Karyalay Building. This is over in the Karve Nagar-Hingne Budrukh area of Pune, 411052. To find us, you have to go up the stairs of the main administrative building. It’s a busy place with a lot of different offices and educational departments around. Our space is dedicated to dancing. It’s just a large room with enough space for people to move. We’ve been here for some time now. The sounds of drums or music usually fill the hallway during the afternoons. It’s not a fancy studio with mirrors on every wall; it’s more of a traditional place to practice. The staff here consists of a few people who handle the scheduling and the teaching. We see people from all over Karve Nagar coming in. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of history. We just fit into our corner of it. There’s no big marketing team or anything. We just put up a few signs and let people know when the next session starts. It’s a simple operation. We spend our time making sure the floor is clean and the music is ready. It’s just what we do here in Pune. Most days, we’re just tired by the time we leave the building.
