Madhu Acting School

Our acting school is located in Swojas Exllency, which is just off the main F.C. Road in the Deccan Gymkhana area. If you know Pune, you know this part of town is always packed with students and shoppers. We are at 917/19-E, and it’s a lively place to be for anyone interested in drama or film. The classrooms are often filled with people practicing their lines or working on their movements. You can often hear music or someone shouting a monologue if you walk past our door. It’s not a quiet, boring office; there is always some kind of creative energy going on. F.C. Road is right there, so after class, students usually go out to the cafes or the bookstores nearby. The building itself is quite standard for Deccan, but inside, we’ve tried to make space for people to perform. We have mirrors on the walls and some basic props scattered around the corners. It’s a place for people who actually want to work on their craft rather than just talk about it. We don't have a big stage, but we make do with the floor space we have. The staff here mostly looks after the scheduling and making sure the instructors have what they need for the day. It’s a busy, sometimes messy environment, but that’s just how it goes when you’re teaching acting in the middle of a city like Pune.
