Machani Somappa Memorial School

You can find us at Survey No 7, specifically in the Supreme Arcade over in Kharadi. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for a school, being in a place like Supreme Arcade, but it works for us and the families here. Kharadi is a fast-moving part of Pune, and we’re right in the middle of it. The school is named after Machani Somappa, and we’ve been operating out of Plot No 17 and 18 for a good while. It’s a practical setup. We don't have those massive rolling fields, but we make the most of the space we have in the building. The kids seem to like it well enough. During the day, the halls are full of noise and students heading to their next class. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of the people who work here are just regular folks from around Pune who care about teaching. We get students from all over the local area, mostly children of people working in the nearby businesses. It’s a straightforward environment. We focus on the curriculum and making sure everyone stays on track with their studies. If you are looking for the school, just head toward the arcade on Survey No 7. We’re there every weekday, just doing what schools do. It’s a busy, honest place to be for the kids. The neighborhood knows us well by now as we have been here long.
