Maa Triveni Devi P/M School

Our school is right on the Pune Solapur Road in the Hadapsar area. If you know the 411028 district, you know how hectic the traffic gets around here. Maa Triveni Devi P/M School has been part of this neighborhood for a while. We are a primary and middle school, so we see kids from the time they are quite small until they are almost teenagers. The building sits close to the main road, so we hear the sounds of the city all day long. It’s not a quiet place, but it has a lot of energy. We don’t use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a local school. The teachers are regular people from Pune who care about their students. We spend our time grading papers, planning the next week, and making sure the building is kept clean. There’s always a bit of dust because of the road, so we are always sweeping. We have a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the day’s events. It’s a very normal, down-to-earth place. We don't have a big corporate office or a board of directors. It’s just us running the show and making sure things get done. People in Hadapsar know where we are. We just keep our heads down and work hard every day for the community. Sometimes the gates need oiling, and sometimes we just need more pencils.
