You can find us at Salunkhe Vihar in Kondhwa, Pune, specifically over at Col B.S Berge’s place. Being in the events business means our office is usually a bit of a mess with flyers, banners, and boxes of supplies piled up in the corners. We spend half our time on the phone talking to vendors and the other half out on the road checking out different spots for shows or promotions. It’s the kind of job where you never really know what the day is going to look like when you wake up. One day we might be hauling speakers around and the next we’re sitting at a desk doing budget spreadsheets. It gets pretty loud and hectic when an event date is getting close. We’re just a small crew trying to make sure things happen the way they’re supposed to. We’ve had our fair share of mistakes, like forgetting a power cord or having a tent blow over, but we always figure it out in the end. The neighborhood here in Kondhwa is nice and mostly quiet, which is a big change from the noisy places where we actually do the events. We mostly wear comfortable clothes because we’re always moving around or loading stuff into the back of a van. It’s a lot of hard work and late nights, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have a fancy storefront or anything, just a workspace where we get things organized for whatever job comes next.
