Like Cafe

We set up Like Cafe here in Kothrud because it’s where we live. There isn't much to say about us that you wouldn't see just by looking in the window. We make coffee and some snacks. It’s a small space, so it gets crowded in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. We try to get the orders out fast, but sometimes there’s a wait. That’s just part of it. We use a regular machine and the same beans we’ve used since the start. People ask if we’re going to open more locations, but we’re happy right here. It’s easier to manage when you can see every table from the counter. We’ve got some old wooden chairs that might creak a bit, but they’re comfortable enough. The walls have some pictures we liked, nothing professional. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just open the doors in the morning and close them at night. It’s a simple life. Kothrud has a lot of energy, and we like being part of the daily routine for the folks around here. If you need a quick cup or a sandwich, we’re usually around. We don't do anything fancy, just the stuff we know how to make well. Some days are slow, some days are fast, but that is fine with us. We just keep doing what we do and let the coffee speak for itself.
