Krushnai Mahila Udyog

Our small setup is in Rasta Peth at number 301. It is a group of us women working together to make things. The space is usually filled with the sound of work and conversation. We handle a lot of different items depending on what is needed at the time. Rasta Peth is an old part of the city, so the building has that classic feel to it. It is not a big factory or anything like that. We use simple tools and our hands for most of the work. There are always containers and raw materials sitting around the room. We take turns with the different tasks. Sometimes we are busy with large orders and everyone is working fast to get things finished. Other times, it is a bit slower and we can talk while we work. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy office. People find out about us mostly by word of mouth or by just walking past our door. It is important for us to have this place where we can work and earn. We take pride in what we do, even if it is just small-scale production. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we know every corner of this shop. We have been here for a while and the neighbors know us well. It is just a group of local women trying to keep a small business going.
