We are set up at 3 Chinchwad in Amit Plaza. If you are looking for us, we are right below the Sai Palace Hotel. It is a handy spot because people staying at the hotel often wander down when they need a car or a bus. The office is small and simple. We have a couple of desks and a big map of the local area on the wall. There are usually a few sets of car keys sitting on the counter. Chinchwad is a busy area, so there is always something going on outside our door. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers and making sure they know where the pickups are. It can be a bit chaotic when three things happen at once, but we manage. We have a small bench outside where drivers sit and talk while they wait for their next assignment. The office smells a bit like tea and old paper. We don't use any fancy software for the bookings; a pen and a diary work just fine for us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just open the door for light and keep going. We know the regular customers by name, and they usually stop for a chat even if they don't need a ride that day. It’s a friendly enough place to spend the day.
