Kline Memorial School

Kline Memorial School is situated right behind the Ramyanagari Housing Society in the Bibvewadi area of Pune. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that actually makes it a little quieter for the students once they get inside the gates. The housing society is a huge complex, so it’s the best way to tell people where we are. If you find Ramyanagari, you’ve basically found us. The school building is a solid, functional structure that’s seen a lot of students pass through over the years. We have the standard classrooms, a small playground area, and the administrative office where all the files are kept. Bibvewadi has changed a lot lately; it’s much more crowded now than it used to be. There are shops and small businesses everywhere you look. In the mornings, the lane leading up to the school gets quite full of yellow buses and parents on motorcycles. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but everyone manages to get through. The teachers here are mostly from around this part of Pune, so they understand the local community well. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics that are needed for a good education. It’s a plain, honest kind of place. We just open up early, get the classes started, and keep things running until the final bell rings in the afternoon. It’s just a regular school doing its job every day of the week.
