Kiran Pohekar

I’m Kiran, and I’ve got my place at 343 Chandan Society. We are located in Sahakar Nagar No. 1, which is a fairly quiet residential part of Pune. If you are coming from Satara Road, we are right opposite the old police chowki. Everyone around here uses that chowki as a landmark because it’s been there forever. The society itself is quite old and has a lot of trees. My setup is nothing special, just a regular room where I get things done. I like being in this part of town because it’s not as chaotic as the main city center, but still close enough to get anywhere. The building has been here for years, and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Sometimes the parking gets a little tight on the street, especially on weekends, but usually, it's fine. I spend most of my day here. It’s a comfortable spot with a bit of a breeze if I keep the window open. People in the society are friendly and we all know each other. I don’t have any big signs or anything, just the door number 343. I’ve lived in Pune my whole life, so being on Satara Road feels right. It’s a practical place to work from. There is a small tea stall nearby where I usually go in the afternoons. It keeps me going through the day. I'm happy here.
