Kings Kitchen

Kings Kitchen is a small place located in Wakad. You can find us at Fernandes Chawl, which is right opposite the Khar Jama Masjid at E 2/3. This is a very lively part of town and we have been here for a good while. We are not a big chain or anything like that. It is just a local kitchen where we do our own work every day. The street outside can get very crowded, especially because we are right across from the Masjid. We hear the prayers and the traffic all day long, and it just becomes part of the background. Fernandes Chawl is where we set up our shop and it feels like a good fit for us. E 2/3 is a basic space without any fancy decorations. We do all the cooking and the cleaning ourselves because we don't have a big staff. It means long hours and sometimes we are quite tired, but we don't really mind it. It is just how things are for us. We know almost everyone who walks past our front door. Kings Kitchen is a place where we just focus on what we are doing and not much else. We don't have a big menu or anything flashy. Some days it gets quite hot in the kitchen but we just keep going. Wakad is a busy place but we are happy with our little corner at E 2/3. We just do the work and then we go home.
