We are based in Kalewadi, over in the Pimpri area of Pune. It is a very busy part of the city with a lot of noise. We work with all kinds of home appliances. Most of our day is spent looking at broken motors or trying to fix leaks in old machines. The shop is not very large at all, so we have to be careful where we step so we do not trip. There is always a row of machines sitting near the door waiting to be picked up by their owners. We do not have any fancy office staff here. It is mostly just us handling the repairs and answering the phone when it rings. Pune can get quite hot in the summer, so the fans are always on full blast in the workshop. We have been in Pimpri for a long time now. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we first started out. There are many more shops around us now. We do not really do much marketing or anything like that. Usually, a neighbor tells someone about us and they show up. We try to be honest about what can actually be fixed and what is just junk. It is better to be clear with people from the start. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive from across the city.
