Lonavala is where we are, specifically at 151, Shankar Nagar, in the Ttungarli area of Taluka Maval. It is a beautiful place to work, especially when the clouds come down low during the monsoon season. Our office is in a quiet residential patch away from the main market madness. You can hear the birds and the sound of the wind in the trees most of the time. The building is a simple structure that fits right into the neighborhood. Inside, we have a few desks and some chairs that have seen better days. We spend our time planning tours and helping people figure out the best way to see the hills and the forts around here. There is always a sweater hanging on the back of my chair because it can get chilly quite suddenly. We have a small kitchen area in the back where we make ginger tea when it rains. The internet can be a bit patchy when the weather gets really bad, so we have to be patient with the bookings. Most of the people who find us are looking for a bit of help with local sightseeing or a car to take them down to the city. We don't have any shiny brochures or fancy displays, just our notebooks and a couple of computers. It is a slow-paced life here compared to the city, and we prefer it that way. We just do our work and enjoy the fresh air.
