Kedar Medical

Our medical shop is located in the Kurukshetra Building on Omkareshwar Road. It’s Survey No 614 in Shaniwar Peth, very close to the Mutheshwar Ganpati Temple. Being near the temple means there are always people around. We keep all kinds of medicines and health supplies. It isn't a huge place, so the boxes are stacked pretty high. I usually know where everything is, even if it looks a bit disorganized to someone else. We see a lot of the same faces every month coming for their regular prescriptions. It’s important work, and we take it seriously, though we are just a small local pharmacy. Sometimes people come in just to ask for advice about a cold or a scrape. We tell them what we have on the shelf. The building is a bit old, but it’s sturdy. I’ve spent many years behind this glass counter. Shaniwar Peth has a lot of history, and we feel like a part of it now. We don't have any flashy signs. The name is just painted on the board outside. We stay open even when it rains heavily, because people always need their medicine. It’s a long day, starting early and closing late, but the neighbors depend on us. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty with all the traffic on the road, but we wipe the counters down every few hours. It's just part of being in this part of town.
