Star Engineering Works

We are based out of Santochnagar in Katraj, over in Pune. Star Engineering Works is basically a big workshop filled with machines and the sound of metal being worked on. It can get pretty loud during the day, especially when we have several things running at once. Katraj is a busy part of Pune, and Santochnagar has its own flow. We’ve got a lot of heavy equipment here. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear nice clothes because of all the oil and iron shavings. We do a lot of repair and fabrication work. Usually, we are busy with one project or another, and the floor is covered in scrap bits. We try to keep it organized, but when you’re busy, things just end up where they land. We don’t really have a front desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just find us near the lathes or the welding station. It’s hot work, especially in the Pune summers, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the task at hand. There’s no big secret to what we do at Star Engineering Works. We just take the metal, do the work, and get it ready. It’s honest, hard work and we’ve been doing it a while. Sometimes the machines act up, but we know how to fix them. We have been in Santochnagar for years and we know the neighborhood pretty well by now. It is just a place where things get made and fixed properly without any fuss.
