I've been working as a carpenter here in Karmala for quite a few years now. The shop is right here in Maharashtra 413203, and most people around the neighborhood know where to find me. I mostly handle basic stuff like fixing broken chair legs or putting together cupboards when people need them. It's just me and a couple of guys helping out when the work gets a bit heavy. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a dusty space with saw blades and wood scraps all over the floor. Sometimes it takes a little longer than planned because wood can be tricky to work with, especially when the weather changes. Folks usually stop by to talk about what they need for their homes. I try to listen and just get the job done so it stays together. My tools are old but they still work fine for what I do. You might see me out on the street moving planks around or loading up a cart. If you pass by, you’ll probably hear the noise of the saws before you even see the shop. It isn't a quiet place, that's for sure. I like working with my hands and seeing a pile of timber turn into something useful. It's hard work, and my hands are always covered in sawdust by the end of the day, but it's what I know how to do for a living. Most people just call me when something breaks.
