Kalashree Engineering

Kalashree Engineering is situated at 145 Phursungi Main Road, right across from the Hindustan Lever plant. That is a big landmark, so it makes it pretty easy for people to find our shop. The road out here is always busy with trucks and people commuting, so there is never a quiet moment. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time now. Our daily routine involves a lot of fabrication and repair work. We have all our equipment set up in the main shop area, and it’s usually humming with activity from early morning. It’s a practical space, designed for work rather than looking good. We have piles of metal and various components scattered around because we are always in the middle of several projects at once. We don't really do the whole professional office thing with a fancy lobby. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in our overalls working on a machine. We handle a variety of engineering tasks for local clients and some of the bigger sites nearby. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when we have a tight deadline, but we usually manage to pull through. We aren't big on talking ourselves up. We just like to let the work speak for itself. It’s a lot of long hours and getting our hands dirty, but that’s the nature of the business here in Phursungi.
