K B Engineering Works

K B Engineering Works is situated in Bhosari, on 3rd Cross Street. If you know Bhosari, you know it’s an industrial hub, so there is always the sound of machines and trucks in the background. Our shop is right there in the middle of it all. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty and the floors are never perfectly clean no matter how much we sweep. There’s always a bit of oil or metal shavings somewhere. We have our tools and our machines lined up where they’ve been for years. It’s not a quiet office environment; it’s a working engineering space. The 3rd Cross Street is usually lined with delivery vehicles and other workshops, so it can be a bit of a squeeze to get through. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you’ll just find one of us under a machine or looking at a drawing on a cluttered desk. We like the grit of this area. It feels like things are actually being built here. The lighting isn't great, just some overhead tubes that flicker sometimes, but we can see what we’re doing. We’ve been doing this for a long time and our neighbors on the street are all in the same boat. We drink our tea standing up and then get back to the work. It’s a tough environment but it’s ours, and we wouldn't have it any other way. The work is hard but it gets done.
