Our office is tucked away at Survey No.10 in Vanshiv Vasahat, right in the Dhankawadi area of Pune. If you’ve ever been around this part of Maharashtra, you know it’s a mix of old houses and new shops popping up everywhere. We operate Just Dial Services Pvt. Ltd. from here. It’s a functional space, nothing too flashy. We spend most of our time on the phones or looking at screens, trying to help people find what they need in the city. The noise from the street sometimes drifts in, but we’re used to it by now. There’s a lot of coming and going throughout the day. Pune is a fast city, and Dhankawadi feels like its own little world sometimes. We have a few desks squeezed in, and there’s always someone running out to grab snacks from the local stalls nearby. It’s a lot of routine work, checking details and making sure the information we have is actually useful. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations; we just get on with the job. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, and we all just take a break until things get back to normal. It’s just a group of us trying to keep things moving. The weather in Pune is usually okay, but the rains can make reaching the office a bit of a struggle. We just deal with it as it comes and try to stay productive until it's time to head home.
