Just Bags

If you are walking around Raviwar Peth in Pune, you will find Just Bags near the Kasat Dilip Nagar area. Our shop is at 688/689, and it is usually easy to spot because of the bags hanging near the entrance. Raviwar Peth is a very traditional market area, so it gets incredibly busy, especially on weekends. We carry all sorts of bags, from simple backpacks for kids to heavy-duty bags for traveling. The shop is a bit narrow, so we have to use the wall space as much as possible. It is often dusty because of the constant flow of people and vehicles outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the stock. We don't have a big mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just sell bags to people who need them. Sometimes a customer will spend a long time trying to decide between two different shades of blue, and we just wait and help them out. The business is run in a very old-fashioned way. We know the other shopkeepers on the street and we often share a tea or talk about how the market is doing. It’s a simple life of buying and selling.
