If you go behind the Roxy Hotel in Pimpri, you will find us at 206/1. It is a busy little corner of the world and Jumbo Belly Kitchen Llp has been operating from here for a bit now. The location is handy because everything we need is right nearby, even if the traffic can be a total headache in the afternoons. Our kitchen isn't very big, so we have to be organized or we would all be stepping on each other's toes. We spend most of our time staring at orders and making sure the food is packed up before the riders get annoyed waiting outside. It’s a lot of heat and noise most of the time. We don't have fancy furniture or a place for people to sit and chat. It is strictly a workspace where things get done. The walls are covered in schedules and lists written on scraps of paper. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, and we have to deal with that, but we make it work. It’s an honest way to spend the day, even if your back hurts by the end of it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Pune, we just want to keep the kitchen running smoothly behind the hotel. Most of the people working here live close by, so it feels like a neighborhood thing. We just keep our heads down and cook.
