Jayakumar Machine Works

Jayakumar Machine Works is tucked away at 106/3 in Kamadenu Nagar. It is a small setup, mostly just us and the lathes. We have been working here for quite a while now. The neighborhood has changed around us, but our shop stays pretty much the same as it was on the first day. There are metal shavings everywhere, even if we sweep twice a day. It is just the nature of working with machines. We don't spend much time on computers or fancy paperwork in the office. Most of the day is spent checking measurements and making sure the parts are right. If someone calls, we usually have to shout over the sound of the motors just to be heard. It is a simple life, really. We open up early when the air is still cool and stay until the work is finally finished. Sometimes we drink tea out front and watch the traffic go by on the street. Kamadenu Nagar is a decent place to have a business like this. Neighbors don't mind the noise too much since they are used to it by now. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines turning. There isn't much more to say about us. We are just a local shop doing what we know how to do with the tools we have sitting on the floor. It gets dusty, but we don't mind it much. We just show up and work through the list of tasks. That is how we have always done things.
