Jay Govinda Travels

We at Jay Govinda Travels are located over in Chinchwad, right in the Vishwamala Housing Society. It's a busy little area, especially being so close to the Dnyaneshwar Motor Training School. You see people learning to drive all day long, stalled cars and nervous faces. Our office is at number 309. It’s not a very big room, just enough for a couple of chairs and the desk where we keep the car keys and the logbooks. The phone rings a lot with people wanting to go to the airport or out of town for weddings. Most of the drivers have been with us for a bit, so we know them well. We spend a lot of time cleaning the cars and checking the oil. The society is usually quiet in the afternoons, but the mornings are a scramble. We try to keep the coffee pot going because someone is always coming or going at odd hours. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure a car is at the right gate at 4 AM. Sometimes things get mixed up, but we sort it out. It’s just how travel goes. The building itself is older, and you can hear the kids playing outside in the evenings. It’s a real neighborhood vibe here. We’re just regular people trying to keep the wheels turning and getting folks where they need to go without too much fuss. It's honest work and it keeps us busy every single day of the week.
