Jay Engineering Company

Jay Engineering Company is located at Ganesh Prasad, C-26. We are right near Sanas High School at Dhayari Phata. It’s a very busy intersection, especially when school lets out. You can hear the kids shouting and the rickshaws honking all day long from our workshop. Being on Sinhagad Road means we are always in the middle of the local traffic. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly small to medium parts. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we put the lathes and the drill presses. We have an old desk where we keep the ledgers and the drawings. It’s been there since we opened. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat or complain about the noise we make. We try to keep things quiet, but engineering is a loud business by nature. We don't have any fancy signs or big posters. Just the company name and our work. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused through the afternoon slump. It’s a local operation, and most of our workers live just a few blocks away. We like it that way. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood, not just another building on the road. We just keep doing our work, one day at a time, and hope the traffic isn't too bad on the way home. That's the daily routine here for all of us.
