M. K. Enterprises Engineering Works

We are tucked away behind the Karmavati English Medium School in the Borhadewadi area of Moshi. If you are looking for us, we are also right near the Wageshwar Washing Center, which is a good landmark because the school street can get a bit crowded when the kids are heading home. Our engineering workshop stays busy with a lot of different mechanical tasks. There is usually a constant hum of machinery going on in the background while we work on various parts and pieces. It is a bit of a trek out to Jadhavwadi for some, but we like being in this part of town where we have enough space to handle the bigger engineering jobs. We spend most of our hours checking specs and making sure the lathes and drills are running like they should. It is honest work that requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. We do not spend much time on the computer unless we are looking at a specific design; mostly, we are just hands-on with the metal. The shop has a lot of history and a lot of old tools that still work better than the new ones sometimes. When people come by, they usually find us in the middle of a project, probably covered in a bit of machine oil. We just take things one job at a time and try to make sure everything that leaves our doors is solid.
