Indian Engineers

Out here in the Kothrud Industrial Area, things are always moving. Indian Engineers is tucked into the Continental Ind. Estate, specifically at unit 37. If you are looking for 17-B/6, that’s where we are. It’s an industrial spot, so don’t expect anything too pretty. There is usually the sound of machinery or someone loading a truck nearby. We’ve been in this estate for a long time. The unit itself has high ceilings which is good because it gets stuffy otherwise. We do engineering work, which basically means a lot of measuring and checking things over and over. The floor is concrete and probably has a few oil stains that won't ever come out. We have a small corner for our paperwork and a kettle for making coffee. The road inside the estate can be a bit bumpy, especially after the rains, so you have to drive slowly. Most of the guys working in the other units are friendly enough. We all know each other's schedules. It’s the kind of place where people actually work with their hands. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we are ordering parts or checking emails. It’s a solid place to work and we like the independence of having our own unit in this part of town. We are usually here early and stay until the job is finished for the day. It is just a straightforward engineering shop.
