If you come down to Wadgaonsheri in Pune you will find us at Renuka Prasad. Our office is Flat No 13 and it is right behind the Datta Mandir which is a good landmark if you are lost. We are the local branch for Icici Home Finance Co Ltd but it doesn't feel like a big bank office. It is more of a quiet place where people come in to talk about buying a house. We have a lot of files and forms that need to be filled out. Most of the time we are just checking documents or calling people to remind them about their paperwork. The area around Pune 14 is growing fast so there are always new buildings going up nearby. We see a lot of young couples who are excited about their first home and it is nice to talk to them. The office is simple with just a few desks and some chairs for visitors. We drink a lot of tea and try to get through the pile of folders on our desks before the day ends. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit but that is just life here. We aren't into fancy talk or big promises. We just look at the numbers and tell people what is possible. It is a steady job in a busy neighborhood and we like being near the temple because it stays peaceful around here.
