Ibm has a spot here at 211 A, New Kirkee, Yarawada in Pune. It is not the biggest office around, but we get plenty done during the week. This part of Yarawada is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. We have a lot of people coming and going throughout the different shifts. It is mostly just desks and computers, nothing too exciting to look at if you are just passing by the building. We do not really do the whole corporate branding thing inside the office. It is more about the actual work and making sure the systems stay up. Some days the coffee machine works, some days it does not, but we manage. We have been at this location for a bit, and the staff knows the local lunch spots pretty well. If you are looking for us, just head towards the New Kirkee area. It can get a bit dusty with the construction nearby, but that is just how Pune is these days. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or making things look perfect for visitors. We just focus on the servers and making sure the data is handled the right way. Most of the guys here have been with us for a while, so we know how to handle the glitches when they happen. It is a practical place for people who just want to work.
