Iacsd Pune

Our place, Iacsd Pune, is located in Dapodi, specifically at Flat No. 6B in Building E of Mantri Niketan. We operate out of the space provided by Mr. V. S. Dhumal, which gives it a very personal, local feel. It’s not some big, cold institution; it’s more like a home that’s been turned into a spot for learning. We’ve got computers set up in the rooms, and it can get pretty crowded when a group of students is all working on something at the same time. You’ll usually find cables running across the floor and people huddled over screens trying to figure out a bit of code or a technical problem. The building is a typical residential one for this part of Pune, so you’ve got neighbors living right next door and the usual sounds of a busy apartment block. It’s practical and down-to-earth. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Most of the time, we’re just sitting around a table drinking tea and talking through a lesson. It’s a bit informal, but that seems to work best for the people who come here. We just focus on the teaching part and try to make sure everyone understands what they’re doing. It’s a simple setup in Mantri Niketan, but it’s where we do all our work every day, helping folks get a handle on their studies.
