Hotel Ivy Studios, Viman Nagar , Pune

Hotel Ivy Studios is right in the middle of Viman Nagar, specifically over in Sakore Nagar. Being so close to the airport means we see a lot of different people coming through the doors. The hotel itself is at 48/48, and it’s a busy little spot. We don't really have a lot of downtime because there is always a guest checking in early or someone needing to get to a flight in the middle of the night. The staff here is pretty small, and we all end up doing a bit of everything. One minute you might be at the front desk and the next you are helping carry a bag or checking on the kitchen. It’s not a fancy five-star place with white gloves, but we keep it clean and the beds are comfortable. Viman Nagar has changed a lot over the years, with more shops and cafes popping up everywhere, so there is always a lot of noise and energy around. We just focus on getting the rooms ready and making sure the air conditioning is working, which is the main thing people care about when they land in Pune. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three groups arrive at once, but we just handle it one person at a time. It’s a lot of work, but we like being right where all the action is near the airport.
