Hot Sip

We set up Hot Sip at Plot No 2 and 3 on Paud Road because it felt like a decent spot for people in Ideal Colony to stop by. Most days we are just here making sure the drinks are hot and the space is clean enough for whoever walks in. It isn't a massive place, just a simple setup near the sn-129 marker. We spend a lot of time behind the counter, mostly watching the traffic go by on the main road. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with all the horns, but that is just how Kothrud is during the busy hours. People come in, get what they need, and head out to work or back home. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that. It's just chairs and tables that do the job. My cousin helps out when things get busy in the evenings. We try to keep the supply stocked so we don't run out of things in the middle of a rush. It is a lot of standing around and waiting for the next person, then a quick burst of activity. The weather makes a big difference in what people want. When it rains, everyone wants something steaming. In the summer, it's different. We just keep the door open and hope for a breeze. It's a living for us and we just keep at it day after day without much fuss or change to the routine. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving.
