Horizon Motor Driving School

You can find us at Shop No-5 in Omkar Apartment. We’re right in Bhusari Colony, which is a busy part of the Pune Paud Road in Kothrud Comercial Street. It’s a good spot for a driving school because the traffic nearby gives students plenty of practice. We have a small desk where we handle the registrations and a couple of chairs for people waiting for their turn. The walls have some old diagrams of traffic signs and engines. We spend most of our time out on the road in the cars, though. Teaching someone to drive takes a lot of patience. Some people pick it up fast, others take a few weeks to get the hang of the clutch. We’ve seen all kinds of learners over the years. We don’t use any fancy simulators; we just get behind the wheel and start with the basics. The office is usually a bit messy with forms and permit copies. We try to keep a schedule, but sometimes the traffic or a stalled car sets us back. It’s just a local shop run by people who know the roads around Kothrud really well. We don’t have a big marketing budget. Most of our students come because their neighbors or cousins learned here. It’s a simple business. The cars are well-used but we keep them in good shape. We don't have a big classroom, just a few charts on the wall. It's a small place, but it's been around for quite a long time.
