Ajit Driving School

You can find us over on N. D. A. Road, which is a place that stays busy with traffic almost all day long. It’s a good spot for a driving school because if you can learn to drive around here, you can probably drive anywhere. We have a small office near Nc Kelkar Road 4 where we handle all the paperwork and talk to people who want to get their licenses. The floor is just plain tile, and there are some plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their turn in the car. Most of the time, the instructors are out on the road, so the office might just have one person sitting there answering the phone. We use cars that have seen a lot of miles, but they work fine for practicing. You see people of all ages coming in, some look excited and others look like they’d rather be anywhere else. We don’t do anything fancy, just sit in the passenger seat and help them figure out the pedals and the mirrors. The traffic noise is constant, so we have to talk a bit louder than usual. Sometimes we take a break and get some tea from the shop down the street. It’s a pretty basic routine day in and day out. We just keep the cars running and make sure the schedules are mostly followed, even when the traffic makes us run a little late for the next person.
