Aalekh Motor Driving School

Our driving school is based out of Avanti Society in Padmavati, Pune. We’ve been here for a long time, helping our neighbors and people from all over the city learn how to handle a car. Pune roads aren't the easiest to learn on, especially with all the two-wheelers zipping around, but we take it slow. Our office is just a small room in the society where we keep the registers and the learner permits. Most of our work happens out on the streets. We have a couple of cars that we keep in good shape, even though the clutches take a beating from all the beginners. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure you know how to park properly and don't stall at the traffic lights. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s worth it when someone finally gets their license and can drive themselves to work. We spend a lot of time chatting with our students while we drive, so we’ve heard a lot of life stories over the years. It’s a very grounded, local business. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just show up every day, meet our students at the gate, and head out into the traffic. It’s a simple way to make a living and we’re happy doing it. If you see our car around Padmavati, it’s probably one of us teaching a new driver the ropes.
