Hadapsar is one of those parts of Pune that never seems to stop growing. Our place in Malawadi is right in the middle of all that. It’s not the fanciest office you’ll ever see, but it works for us. The roads around here can get pretty dusty, especially when there’s construction going on nearby, which seems to be always. We’ve been here in Maharashtra for a good stretch of time now. Usually, the mornings start with someone complaining about the traffic on the way in. It’s just part of the routine. We have a small space where we keep our things and get to work. There’s a tea stall just down the road that makes decent ginger chai, which helps on the slow days. We don't really bother with big speeches or anything like that. We just show up, do the tasks we have for the day, and then try to beat the evening rush. It gets pretty hot here in the summer, so the fans are always going. Sometimes it feels like we’ve spent more time in this building than in our own houses. The address is easy enough to find if you know the Malawadi area, though some delivery guys still get lost. It’s a quiet enough spot once you’re inside. We just like to keep things moving without making a big fuss about it. That’s pretty much the whole story of our daily life here.
