We've been at Plot No.2 in the S Block of MIDC Bhosari for quite a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of the machines and the heat from the floor, but that’s how it goes here. It’s not a fancy place by any means. If you walk in, you’ll see oil stains on the floor and stacks of metal waiting to be worked on. We spend a lot of our time just making sure everything runs okay without breaking down. Sometimes the power acts up or we’re waiting on a delivery that’s stuck in traffic, but we manage. My father started this and now a few of us keep it going. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks when the noise gets to be too much. We do a lot of different jobs depending on what people bring us. Some days are slow and we just clean up the tools, other days we’re here late into the night. It gets dusty in this part of Bhosari, especially with all the construction nearby lately. We don't really have a big office or anything. Most of the work happens right there on the shop floor where the real stuff is. We just try to get the orders out and keep the machines greased. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and our neighbors. We just try to be honest about what we can do.
