This place is located out in Tirahgut, Mulshi, specifically at Plot No 1109/11/10. It’s a fairly big site, and there is almost always something moving through the gates. I have worked here for a long time now, and the sheer scale of the operation still surprises me on some days. We have multiple shifts running, so the facility lights never really go out. It gets quite loud because of the long conveyor belts and the heavy trucks coming in and out of the loading bays. Being situated near Mulshi means the weather is usually okay, but the heavy monsoon rains can be a real pain for the logistics and the drivers. We spend a lot of our time checking the pressure gauges and making sure the lines don’t get jammed up with broken glass. It is definitely not the kind of job where you get to sit down much. You are always on your feet, wearing your safety gear, and keeping a sharp eye on the bottles as they fly past. We get a lot of people from all the nearby villages working here with us. It’s a busy atmosphere most of the time. Sometimes the old machinery needs a bit of a nudge to keep going, or at least it feels that way when things get really hectic. We have a small canteen where we all sit and talk about our families or the cricket scores. It is mostly routine work, but we just focus on finishing the daily targets.
